50 Cent in serious accident

Posted on 27th June, 2012

50 Cent was in a life threatening accident two nights back. 50 Cent appears to be living out a real life, ‘Final Destination’ movie.

He possibly had a brush with death again last night when he was involved in a bad car accident in Queens. According to his website, who broke the news, he was traveling down the Long Island Expressway when the SUV he was riding in was hit by a MACK truck. The SUV flipped a few times which caused injuries to 50 Cent and the driver who were both taken to a nearby Queens Hospital.

I hope this isn’t some weird album promo. It’s awfully strange that with an accident that bad, additional news outlets were not on the scene and the only photos that are avail are from his website. Last month, he spent a few days in the hospital after suffering from a stomach virus, and back in May of 2000 he escaped death, after being shot 9 times in front of his grandmother’s house.

Check out pictures of 50 cent after the accident below

Chief Keef has the number one hit song this week

Hip Hop Gossip and news Spot

Hip Hop's most wanted Chief Keef takes the top spot this week.

Chief Keef popped up and made quite the impact over the last week or so. While we await whether or not he'll be adding YMCMB to his resume, he takes the lead this week. The remix for "I Don't Like" had some A-List talent on it including Kanye West, Pusha T, Jadakiss and Big Sean. Minus Kiss and Keef, this looks like one big G.O.O.D. Friday track right? Not exactly, but it had people super excited.

Speaking of repeats, Nas came back with "Daughters" at #3 this week, only losing to 2 Chainz and Drake at #2 with "No Lie." No surprise there. What's something of a surprise his how Kendrick Lamar and Dr. Dre still maintain on this list with "The Recipe." This week it weighedin at #9.

Another shocking return? B.o.B.'s song "Both Of Us" with Taylor Swift at #4. Now that Bobby Ray's Strange Clouds album is out, maybe people were anxious to hear his song again with Swift Dogg? At #5, Slaughterhouse came through with Cee-Lo on the assist for "My Life."

Then 50 Cent, Snoop Dogg and Precious Paris got the #6 spot with "Remain Calm." Under that? Big K.R.I.T.'s "Heard It All" at #7, and the Usher / Rick Ross collab "Lemme See" at #8. Let's see who stays for next week.

Reporter issue stern racist remarks about Jay Z

What the hell?

A writer named Phil Mushnick says that the Nets should call themselves the "New York N-----s" because of Hov's involvement.

After Jay-Z unveiled the new black and white logo for the Brooklyn Nets, NY Post writer Phil Mushnick has some sharp words to share about his ownership of the team.

In an article posted earlier today, Mushnick framed the ownership in a racist context, stating that “as long as the Nets are allowing Jay-Z to call the marketing shots,[…] why not have him apply the full Jay-Z treatment?”

Mushnick then said that the Nets should rename themselves to reflect Hov’s lyrics. “Why the Brooklyn Nets when they can be the New York N------s? The cheerleaders could be the Brooklyn B----es or Hoes.

Team logo? A 9 mm with hollow-tip shell casings strewn beneath. Wanna be Jay-Z hip? Then go all the way!”

Mushnick issued a statement to Village Voice's James King about the article, offering a cursory explanation of his original article.

"James - did you actually read what I wrote and what I've been writing for 30 years? I don't call black men n-----s; my kids never heard the word until folks such as Jay-Z came along. I'd suggest you talk to him about it. What I wrote today was on Jay Z's artistry, and only the wishful and foolish would so badly misinterpret and mischaracterize it as you plan to do. Thanks - Mushnick."
